Hike Guide – Beth Jussaume

Favorite Conservation Area: Gumpus Pond Conservation Area

Beth Jussaume grew up in Pelham exploring the outdoors and continues to find joy, peace, and connection in nature. As the Volunteer Guided Hike Coordinator for Pelham Pathways, Beth is the heart behind our community hikes—scheduling events and supporting volunteer guides who share her passion for the outdoors.

An avid hiker and mountain biker in her younger days, Beth now finds delight in the accessibility and variety of Pelham’s trail network, whether for a quick, brisk walk or a longer, more leisurely trek. She has completed both of Pelham’s Hike Challenges and continues to inspire others to get outside and explore.

Beth’s love for New Hampshire’s forests and parks is lifelong, and she brings a gentle, compassionate presence to her role. She is especially gifted at making others feel welcome on the trails, regardless of their experience level. Her joy in nature is contagious—and her warmth and dedication are felt in every hike she helps coordinate.

Beth is deeply rooted in the Pelham community. She’s grateful to be married to her high school steady and is the proud mom of three awesome boys. Whether she’s guiding a group through the woods or offering a kind word of encouragement, Beth embodies the spirit of Pelham Pathways: inclusive, connected, and deeply in love with the natural world.

Peace out!

Beth
