Hello Pelham Pathways friends!

Winter is officially here—and so is one of our favorite ways to enjoy it together. Please join us for our Guided Winter Hike on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Arthur H. Peabody Memorial Town Forest. This is a perfect way to get outside, breathe in some fresh air, and shake off the winter cobwebs.

👣 What to Expect

• A moderate, family-friendly hike (about one hour) through beautiful winter woods
• Guided by the wonderful Beth Jussaume
• Crunchy snow underfoot (the best kind!)
• Snacks and water generously sponsored by Hannaford of Pelham

👉 Important tip: Please wear microspikes or traction cleats if you have them. They make walking on packed or crunchy snow safer—and much more fun (less slipping, more smiling).

🍽️ Lunch After the Hike (We Need Your Help!)

After the hike, many of us will head over to Pine Valley Golf Course for lunch. Pelham Pathways is offering a $10 lunch credit per person as our treat.

Did you know Pelham has a Winter Hike Challenge running now through February 28? Walking Peabody on January 10th is one easy way to check a trail off your list. Whether you hike, snowshoe, or stroll, every step counts—and there’s even a commemorative patch at the end. Consider this hike your official winter challenge warm-up!

🎰 A Little Fun That Gives Back (Charitable Gaming Days)

Right after our hike weekend, Pelham Pathways will be participating in Charitable Gaming Days at Beach Club Casino in Hampton, NH, from January 11–15, 2026. (hours 1 pm-1 am).

If you enjoy:

• Pull tabs
• Table games
• Or just a fun outing by the ocean

…this is a great way to support trails, parks, and community programs while having fun. You don’t have to be a “gambler” to participate—just stopping by helps our cause.
