Celebrating One Year

A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Volunteers

This month, we proudly celebrate the creation of Pelham Pathways, the unification of the Pickleball Community, Community Trail Coalition, All Persons Trail Committee and Celebration Park Committee. Together, we’ve built a nonprofit dedicated to fostering an inclusive, vibrant community where people of all ages and abilities can connect, explore, and thrive.

Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, Pelham’s outdoor spaces are becoming more than just parks and trails—they’re hubs for wellness, connection, and conservation.

In 2024 alone, over 30 volunteers contributed an extraordinary 2,514 hours to our mission. Each hour represents passion and commitment to creating a healthier, more accessible community.

We extend special thanks to some standout contributors:

2024 Highlights

Volunteers have accomplished remarkable milestones in its inaugural year.

Conservation & Trails: Hosted a Fall Festival, led guided nature hikes, and installed perennial gardens at Celebration Park. Developed a trail rating system, video guides, and initiated an All-Persons Trail feasibility study.

Park Enhancements: Added benches, birdhouses, and kiosks to local parks and created educational brochures for visitors.

Recreation & Engagement: Resurfaced pickleball courts, ran a children’s pickleball camp, and hosted tournaments that brought the community together.

These achievements underscore what’s possible when a community unites under a shared vision.

Thank You

To every volunteer—whether you gave one hour or one hundred—thank you for helping us create an inclusive, active, and sustainable Pelham. Your efforts are the foundation of our success, and we are excited to build on this momentum in 2025.

Here’s to another year of connection, conservation, and community!

With gratitude,

The Pelham Pathways Team
