If you’ve walked near Pulpit Rock Lodge lately, you may have noticed something different.
The forest is opening up. Sunlight is reaching the ground in new places. And quietly, steadily… something beautiful is beginning. Thanks to Pulpit Rock Lodge brothers Doug Pabst, David Bruce, Carl Clearly and a brother from Massachusetts, Michael Taylor, who are donating not only their money and time but also equipment via M&D Power Services to start construction of this beautiful park.

Welcome to Harmony Park at 8 Tenney Road in Pelham.
This new space is being thoughtfully created as a place where people, nature, and pollinators can come together. And we’re excited to share—the work has officially begun.
Harmony Park is a five-acre woodland conservation and education park being developed through a partnership between Pelham Pathways and Pulpit Rock Lodge #103 in Pelham, NH. In a region facing increasing development pressure, this project reflects a community decision to protect forestland for public and ecological benefit. Restoration efforts will remove invasive species and reestablish native plant communities, improving habitat quality and supporting pollinators, birds, and other wildlife. Carefully designed woodland trails will minimize fragmentation while interpretive features educate visitors about biodiversity, habitat connectivity, and ecosystem services such as pollination, stormwater absorption, and carbon storage. Harmony Park strengthens local habitat networks while fostering conservation awareness and community stewardship.
🌱 What’s Happening Now
Over the past few weeks:
- Invasive plants are being carefully removed
- A new trail is starting to take shape
- Select trees have been taken down to make room for something special
At the heart of Harmony Park will be a pollinator garden—a vibrant, living circle designed to support bees, butterflies, and other essential species.
And this isn’t just any garden.
It will be a 25-foot-wide circle—about the size of a small backyard above-ground pool or a gathering circle where a group of 20+ people could comfortably stand together.
Imagine it filled with native wildflowers, buzzing with life, changing with the seasons.
